Converged Access Inc., the leader in developing intelligent application performance control for converged Voice Over Internet Protocol, data and video applications, announced this week that it closed an $8 million Series C Round of Venture Capital. SpaceVest Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in companies that boost advanced technologies, led this round.

Converged Access will use this round of Venture Capital to expand the sales and marketing efforts worldwide. In addition, the company will use this round to increasing the opportunity to demonstrate application performance control by expanding sales and new product development. All existing investors participated in the round, including Ashford Capital Management, Flagship Ventures, MC Venture Partners, North Atlantic Capital and SI Ventures. Ransom Parker, Managing Director of SpaceVest Capital will join the Converged Access board of directors.
